Terms of service
High Line Furniture offers brand new and gentle used furniture for sale to the local public and nationwide. New furniture is always 25-25% off retail whereas used furniture may be offered for sale up to 90% off.
Consignees may contact us to provide consignment services for their furnishings and accessories and sign a 90 day contract during which time items maybe marked down to sell. A buyout option may be offered to consigner in which case High Line Furniture agrees to provide payment to consignee upfront for their items.
Consignees may receive a detailed inventory list with estimated pricing sheet prior to their consignment. Items are priced in accordance to their original retail value in which brand name, condition, age are all taken into consideration for pricing. By signing a contract with us High Line Furniture holds the right to end consignment early with notice and holds the right to item pricing at all times. Selling items for the highest possible value is top priority as it is beneficial to both parties.
Unforeseeable events:
High Line Furniture shall have no liability to you for any delay or failure to deliver goods you have ordered or for any damage or defect to goods delivered that is caused by any event or circumstance beyond reasonable control including, without limitation, strikes, lock-outs and other industrial disputes, breakdown of systems or network access, flood, fire, explosion or any other natural disaster or accident.
Freight orders and out of state deliveries:
High Line Furniture shall have no liability in case an item is damaged ny whatever means during out of state or freight deliveries. Any claims or disputes via credit card against High Line Furniture by damage will result in immediate legal action
The following is for local deliveries only; New furniture will be insured via the manufacturer and client will have 10 days from receiving date to make a claim to the insurance provider by informing High Line Furniture of any damage. We will assist our clients in this matter when clients abide by deadline. If client fails to contact us after 10 days they assume and understand responsibility.
Out of state deliveries; clients may choose to purchase additional insurance through freight provider at time of purchase at their chosen insured amount. Any freight claims must be issued through purchased insurance and High Line Furniture does not hold any responsibility for damage caused by freight carrier.
In the event you cancel your shipment while en route or if the package is considered “undeliverable” by the freight company at destination, you will be responsible for all shipping and handling costs. Your credit card will be refunded minus the shipping costs plus a 25% restocking fee once it has been inspected at the warehouse.
